Augmented L&D – Applying AI to Transform Learning.

Artificial intelligence is a rapidly-emerging technology in our everyday lives. Most of us use AI every day, but we often don’t know it. There is already a lot of buzz – some real, some hype – around what AI can (and should) do in the workplace. However, before you can get value from AI-enable technology, you have to understand the basics and how this technology will fundamentally shift the work L&D professionals do every day. Otherwise, L&D risks falling behind on another paradigm-shifting technology, similar to what has occurred with digital, social and mobile technologies in the past.

Let’s explore the immediate future for AI in workplace learning. In this session, we’ll clarify what AI can and cannot do. We’ll highlight the role data will play in the emergence of AI-enabled L&D. We will explore AI capabilities that are already being used within workplace learning. We will then apply AI principles to solve familiar L&D challenges, such as content development, translation, personalization and measurement, to demonstrate how this technology will fundamentally change the work we do every day. You’ll leave this session with a practical understanding of how AI will augment your L&D capabilities over the next 3 to 5 years.
